SuperMeat is seeking for an operationally focused Chief Financial Officer to oversee strategy and
execution of fundraising, financial analytics and projections, budget management, tax, accounting and
compliance.
This CFO will support external communications with the Board of Directors, investors and financial
institutions and will work with management to identify critical issues and risks and develop initiatives
accordingly to improve operations performance.
Ideal candidates will bring prior experience in implementing financial planning, analysis and reporting
discipline to a fast growing, VC-backed, multi-site, complex business organization.

Key responsibilities:
● Finance Strategy and Execution - oversee financial planning and analysis, investment
implementation, metrics, compliance, tax, accounting, bookkeeping and international
cash/currency management.
● Fundraising - provide strategic guidance around fundraising options to support company growth
needs. In partnership with the CEO, serve as an interface to the Board of Directors and key
investors, providing insight and analysis and regular updates to financial forecasts and company
initiatives.
● Operations - support operations in forward planning and performance tracking, proactively identify
challenges and propose solutions. Partner with the CEO and management to develop strategic
planning tools, including capital and operating budgets to ensure optimal utilization of financial
resources.
Required experience:
● Demonstrated track record of success in a CFO role for a complex, VC-backed business. IPO /
publicly traded company CFO-level experience is preferred
● Previous experience in fundraising effort in a fast growing startup.
● Food & beverage or CPG experience is a plus.
● A detail-oriented finance executive with experience in implementing and managing rigorous
financial controls and performance measures.
● Expertise in multi-site expansion and manufacturing facilities setup is highly preferred.
● Collaborative team player, with superior interpersonal and communication skills.
● Energetic and has the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
