Water Ways Technologies Inc. is an agriculture technology company that specializes in providing water irrigation solutions to agricultural producers. Irri-Al-Tal competes in the global irrigation water systems market with a focus on developing solutions with commercial applications in the micro and precision irrigation segments of the overall market.
As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an Assistant Controller who will be an excellent addition to our Finance team.
Job Responsibilities:
• Prepare, review, and oversee subsidiaries (mostly China and Canada but not limited to) periodical reporting packages and tax returns.
• Cost analysis of projects.
• Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing process according to the IFRS for the consolidated reports.
• Budget preparation and budget control of the Group’s subsidiaries
• Assist in the development and implementation of new processes and system improvements to enhance the workflow of the department.
• Work with and provide financial information to internal and external auditors and responds to the audit reports, as required
• Support corporate team with ad hoc projects and tasks.
Position Requirements:
• Completed internship in one of the big 4.
• High Excel skills
• Fluent written and spoken English- Must.
• Proven understanding of financial accounting and reporting according to IFRS/ and tax rules.
• High expertise in consolidation of FS
• Very organized, excellent multi-tasking abilities, and great time management skills
• Willing to take on new responsibilities.
• Great communication and interpersonal skills.
• ERP systems knowledge/ experience – SAP - an advantage
